Hi Mike,
looking for a good starting point in jetting my 44mmcv. I have a 94 xl 1200 with se536 cams w/ valve spring kit, 10:1 compression, kerker 2:1 modified exhaust, stock heads--do you have any jetting recommendations for me? Also, I have a large torque dip @ 2-3k rpm, but builds real fast from 3k and up, is this torque dip common?

A tq dip at, or around, 2700 would be expected with a modified Kerker and is common. It's also a function of the cam timing and cylinder pressures. Unfortunately, jetting recommendations cannot be precise due to environment and pipe mods. A good starting place would be a 45 low speed and 190 main, for your combo. I like two needle shims for XL's. If you have the tuning kit, use the richest needle and lightest spring as a start.
