Mike,
My 08 Dyna cases did not have o-rings on the alignment
dowels. After checking closely there is no groove for them around
the dowels or on the other case half. The service manuals for the
08 dyna still mentions them in the assembly procedure.
Is there a problem with my bike or has a H-D implemented a change ?
I realize this is a potential problem area when boring for bigger
cylinder spigots if the machining gets into the o-ring grooves.
Since my cases have no grooves, Im hoping this is a good thing.
I have plenty of gasket surface around the dowels and cylinders
fit with approx .010" +/- a couple thousandths clearance on spigots.
I want to say thanks to you Mike for always taking time to answer all
