I found the procedure on how to adjust the engine mounts interesting so thought I'd pass it on. This is from my 2001 Dyna service manual.
If you have had to adjust the top stabilizer link more than 5 turns to align the drive train to the chassis by using an inclinometer { I used my dial protractor from Art Morrison}
Do this by having the bike level and use the front and rear brake rotors for the datum line.
make sure the transmission is in neutral
Loosen all of the mounting bolts on the engine isolators and start the engine.
Let the engine run for about 5 seconds.
This will center the engine mounts on the frame and power train assembly.
Tighten the mounting bolts to 25 ft lbs.
Edited to add that it would be a good idea to recheck the drive train alignment as described above once this is done. {that wasn't mentioned in the service manual}
