Sorry if this is the wrong area, only one I could find I could get into.

I understand you have a new F.I. control box for the 1125 series of Buells.
Can you please give me some info on it.
How it works, how adjustments are made, are they complete throttle location adjustments or portions of throttle rotation adjustments...etc.
OR...are there seperate complete maps available?

I am interested in one if I can richen controled areas of the fuel maps.

I'm seriously thinking of getting an 1125CR but am a little concerned about the lean running and future intake and exhaust modifications.
I understand the stock control box will understand some changes done, but the original fuel maps begin too lean.

Also, can the timing be altered?

Thanks for your time.

Mike

Technically, should be in the Q&A section (subscription only), but since this relates to our own product, I'll answer here.

We are working on a controller but have yet to get the base programing parameters settled. At this time, the two prototypes on bikes have not given results that translates into a comsumer product.

If we are successful (BIG IF), it will add and subtract fuel only, no ignition mods (at this time). It is a signal modifier (similar to a DFO box), but we have base programing control. The problem is precisely the "controlled" area. The closed loop system tries to correct any changes we make with the controller but these corrections affect the ENTIRE map table.

At this time, I am NOT recommending any exhaust or other air flow changes to 1125's or 08L XB's as we do not have a viable controller to account for such changes, on street bikes (even the 07 earlier XB's are sketchy). The most current 1125 factory cal is a BIG improvement over earlier versions and essentially eleminates the need for a controller on stock bikes. Those wishing to install exhaust or race will still require something, so we'll continue development on the controller. For racers, Buell does offer a programmable ECU (PCM software) part number Y1152.08AH (current race license required, $775.00).

Thanks for the reply and your honesty.

How can I be kept up on the updates your controler?
