Sportster ICM programming and learn process

Does anyone know how to do this? I've bought a new igniton module (32471-06A) for my 2006 XL1200C Sporty, and i've been told it won't work properly, if at all, unless I peform some mysterious programming and learn process.:D

Hey Dave,
The password learn process will need to be performed at your dealership. Your mtc. has several modules that communicate with each other, ie:turn signal module, speedometer, tach(if equiped), to perform differrnt system functions on the bike. when you remove any one of these, the motorcycle detects a loss of serial bus data(communication) between modules. The password learn process establishes communication between the new module( your icm) and all of the others. The process takes about 15 min, and is painless.
