Mike,

I have an 08 softail custom with on 1900 miles on it. I bought it new from Latus and had V&H Big radius pipes, a fuel pack, and the upgraded air intake installed before I ever took it home.

For the last three weeks I have been experiencing a hesitation/stutter when shifting from 1st to 2nd. This only happens when the bike hasn't got real warm. I do start and allow the bike to warm up for a couple minutes before I take off. When the bike gets really warm if I get off it for 5 or ten min. and then go to restart it has to turn over an excessive amout before it fires. The other issue is intermittent fast idle issues at a stop light.

The bike was not put on the Dyno when they installed all the aftermarket stuff at Latus. What do ya think?

Thank,
Brian

Fuel Paks are typically installed for those not wishing to incure the expense of dyno time. If dyno time is anticapated and desired, we would normally recommend SERT/Pro. Some Fuel Paks were installed at a time when SERT's were backordered and unavailable and when the pipe/motor combo matched an available V&H FP calibration. In theory, these should not require dyno tuning as the FP cal is claimed to be correct for such combo's by V&H.
