how to change gear lube in transmission? drained the plug, but where does it go in?

This information should be in your owners manual.
It would also be a good idea to purchase a service manual for model and year of your bike for future reference.

i have recently bought my first harley and dont yet have a manual but am changing all the oils before i ride it to far
engine oil i have changed but i need i type and quantity for the gearbox oil,
the bike is a 1995 1200 sportster
can anyone help please
