As I am sure everyone knows Randy won in Richmond. Not only did he win but it put him back in first place in the national points lead. "980 to 970" Randy qualified 2nd in a 9 bike field and was a little off on the numbers. He made small changes and picked up the pace a little each of his 4 rounds on race day and by the finals he was back to his good times. " 8.69 151 mph " In Top Fuel going into the third round of qualifying we were the 6th pair out. We ran a 6.53 at 213 mph and were qualified # 1 and high mph. Then Tak ran a 6.46 and Turner ran a 6.49. We ended up 3rd out of 17 bikes. We had lane choice in the first 2 rounds and won. We lost lane choice in the semi finals and got stuck in the bad lane. "this was definitely a one lane track" we got beat by Turner 6.53 to 6.73. Turner ended up winning the race. Next race in Rockingham, NC 10/13 & 10/14 Then Cal. and Vegas.
