I have a 2008 dyna super glide. I would like to install vance and hines big radius, but i was told to do that i would have to have a powercommander and have dyno work done to it. I also heard that if I were to install the big radius all I had to do was just un hook the battery and the computer would re map itself. Is this true? Any suggestions or comments?

To do my budget stage one I installed NightRider XIEDS on my 08 Fat Bob, cut the plugs out of my mufflers and installed a J.E.T. Phase 2 AC. This has worked fine for a couple of months. But, since I've scraped together a few more pennies I've ordered Rush Slip on muffler w/two inch baffles, and the new SERT.
The PC is only one option for fuel management. Most eventually seem to go to go on to the SERT. I've never heard the trick about disconnecting the battery.

I've bult my own XIEDs but I see that with a better breather AC assembly they are no more sufficient.
I've an SE Race Fueler, but it has lot of issues with the O2 sensors, so I've built my own 1Mohm resistors O2 eliminators and now I'm testing the bike.

Take it back to the dealer. Have them check it out before it gets to be a major problem. I got almost 700 mi. on my new Dyna- no tapping sound.
