I am having a problem with my 06 ultra dying out coming to a stop or sometimes starting out, I have to turn my kill switch off and back on and start it up. I don't have to touch the ignition switch. When I am running down the road it will shut down for 2 to 3 seconds and then continue running without having to touch anything. Any solutions out there?

Update

I had the bike in the shop. They could not duplicate the problem. They disconnected my PC 3, I took a 100 mile trip and still no problems. The only thing is I did not have the power going up hills and the moter pinged a lot. I connected the PC 3 again and continued another 200 miles, no problems and no pings and better performance. So far the problem went away. Still baffled of why it shut down intermittently?

Side stand switch ? Or perhaps a bad engine cutoff switch ?

I have not had the problem since I reset the pc 3 after a few times. I was talking to a guy that had a road king , no power commander. He was having the same problem, his mechanic told him it was a ground problem. He put a braided shield cable from his transmission to the frame, and has not had the problem since, Appartently HD was using the throttle cable as a ground to frame somehow and that has caused a lot of problems. My problem started after HD replaced my throttle cable. So I will put a ground strap on also for safe measures. Thanks for the reply
