Hey Mike,

While still in sticker shock about how much Axtell gets for their 107" Mountain Motor Hybrid kit I've decided to go with an S&S 124" Hot Set Up kit (S&S #90-0133) in my '06 FLHXI. This kit uses my stock heads which I'd trade in on a pair of either Gerolamy TC1APK's (1.90" intake, 1.57" exhaust) or TC2PK's (1.94" intake, 1.57" exhaust) or Baisley Street Ports or Hybrids. How much are the Baisley heads? I can't seem to find any pricing. Any preference over Gerolamy or Baisley?

Regarding a T-Body upgrade... I'm considering Zipper's ThunderMax and Kuryakyn's Wild Thing? They both seem to be very cost effective but I would like to use a SERT. It looks like Zipper's requires the ThunderMax module. Is that correct? The Kuryakyn doesn't state a required module. Have you used either of these and prefer one or the other?

Thanks,
Wayne

It's common knowledge that Dan Baisley and I are close freinds, but that aside, recommend his Hybrid heads. You'll want to contact them directly for pricing, 503-289-1251.

Zippers will work equally as well with SERT but they will have less base maps available. We have our own Throttle body and are using that but production version is STILL in progress. In those cases we recommend the Kuryakyn based on price, but they offer no base maps. In our case we are typically strating from scratch, so this is not a problem with either choice.

Mike,

Just curious if you have worked with Gerolamy Heads. TMan mentioned to me that if he were to recommend anyone elses heads it would be Gerolamy.

Baisley is the standard by which all others are compared! Others will be less expensive, somtimes, but for a 124 application the BHP Hybrids a will be hard to beat.
