Latus Motors Harley-Davidson to sponsor Steve Dorn Racing for the 2008 AHDRA Top Fuel series.

Latus Motors Harley-Davidson will be the primary sponsor for Steve Dorn Racing?s Top Fuel Harley, for a third season. 2008 is lining up to be a championship year for Steve Dorn and team. With this in mind, the Top Fuel Harley will see competition in the entire AHDRA series for the 2008 season while continuing to proudly display the Team Latus colors on the bodywork. Additionally, three possible NHRA invitational events.
The first season saw a devastating crash at Dallas in 2006 and while the bike survived and was in competition at Woodburn (with Drums as stand in rider), Seattle and Las Vegas (with Steve back on board) it was too much to for the team to overcome to challenge for points. But Steve and the bike showed their potential and the 2007 season became the ?learning? year (as 2006 was planned to be) for the as yet new bike. The 2007 season displayed the teams? professionalism, dedication and determination confirming knowing observers? suspicions of the teams? threat for 2008.
The complete team consists of Steve Dorn (rider/team owner), Mike Slonaker (Crew Chief/Engineer), Digger (driver/crew) with the addition of Mike Stegmann (crew / motor-technical specialist as part of Latus? sponsorship) for 2008. .
This sponsorship continues Team Latus Motors Harley-Davidson?s diversity and participation in many forms of racing including co-sponsorship, with Harley-Davidson, of Joe Kopp (AMA Dirt Track series, H-D Wrecking Crew), road racing, Bonneville and others.
