Mike I recently purchased a 2008 Electra Glide. I want to get some more punch out of the 96 ci engine or possibly go to the 103 kit that HD offers. I will be riding two up and want lots of low end and midrange torque. I will want to change the stock filter for a high flow type.

Not sure about the exhaust system. I was leaning towards a D&D fat cat or Borzilla 2 into 1 exhaust with the dummy pipe for the balanced look. Are there any good true dual systems that would work better for low end and midrange torque vs the 2 into 1 pipe? What about different cams that would work better for the low end grunt that I am looking for?

Next question should I just go ahead and install the 103 kit that harley offers vs pumping up the stock 96 ci engine. Same senerio which air filter, exhaust, cams would complament the 103 for low end and midrange torque.

For unported heads, the D&D Fatcat will give best curve shapes. With ported heads, the Boarzilla looks better. In True Dual systems, the RineHarts still tend to be the best overall, especially now with the redesigned baffles. Better to go with the bigger cubes vs trying to make a smaller motor do more work. This is particularly true of tq.Since your asking for low/mid, I would suggest the SE package with the 255 cams.
