Randy wins Rockingham!!!

Randy and Stute win again. In Rockingham this last weekend on Fri they did the test and tune and ran great, On Sat qualifying they had problems. At the end of the day they were qualified # 3 and way off the mark. Randy and Steve worked all night replacing parts and looking for problems. In the end they found a bad ground wire. On Sun AM Krenik went out first and set the record in the class for ET. Randy went behind them and re-set the record with 8.589 then backed it up the next round. Then had Krenik in the semi finals and not only beat him but set the record again at 8.587. Then went to the finals and not only won but set it again at 8.559. This win with the record gives Randy a good points advantage going to the last two races. Randy and Stute worked very hard for this one. In Top Fuel we had the best track conditions and air we have ever had. We have no experience or data for conditions like these. We ran three 6.6s in qualifying. We ended up 10 out of 19. In the first round we knew we had to step it up. We put more to the bike than we ever had. We were ahead at 300' and when the secondary clutch came in and it was to much to fast and we pulled the rpms down to far and banged the motor. We also found we have an electrical problem and it is causing us not to be able to burn all the fuel. The bike will be back Thurs and we will find it before CA.
