Hi Mike,
Looking for some help selecting parts for a 95 build. I have an 05 Heritage Softail. I'm using a PC III, SE air filter and V&H 2 into 1 pro pipe. I'm planning on having my heads ported. I need your expertise on wheather to use the SE BB kit with the flat top pistons and the 203 cams or should I use the HC pistons and the 204 cams. Looking for more gettyup like everyone else. There are so many opinions out there and alot of Harley guys hate the SE line of parts. Any advice would be appriciated..

The SE parts are VERY good. But the aftermarket offers more selections and options. Both the 203 and 204 cams were designed for use with the flat top pistons, approx 9.0 compression and stock heads. With ported heads you can take advantage of more cam. In the SE cams we recommend the 251 when used with the 10.25 pistons. In aftermarket cams or those looking to install gear drives, the Wood Auto TW6H or T-Man Performance TM600 are good choices (the high lifts are not an issue and will take better advantage of the head work). MUCH more tq and hp vs the 203/204 setups. Check out our dyno library on this site for our 251 kits. These are 95ci motors with ported heads and including the 251 and similar cams.
