I have a 2005 Road Glide with Rinehart True Duals and the SE Stage 1 kit. I'm thinking about getting one of the 95 upgrade packages - any recommendations? Also, is it possible to combine this with the 20K service? And if so, approximately how long will all this take? Thanks in advance :-)
In addition to the SE kits, we offer our "Executive" and "Boss" kits. Both are on this site, under engine packages. The "Executive" is also refered to as our 211 kit and we have several dyno charts showing results in our dyno library. It consists of the SE 10.25, 95ci cast pistons and SE 211 cams using stock heads. The "Boss" is also refered to as our 251 kit and too has a large dyno listing on this site. It is similar the the 211 but has ported heads and uses the higher lift 251 cams. We have both kits available on an exchange basis and so the bike is typically on the lift for two days to install. Dyno time with "new motor tune" can add an additional day of down time, if this is opted for. Can be combined with scheduled service and this reduces cost a little vs doing sperately (one oil/filter change). Bikes with 7k+ miles should also have tensioner/chains/lifters replaced with the new cams. EFI bikes require remapping via SERT or Power Commander. Power Commander bikes are recommended to have an H-D SE 95ci stage cal downloaded (in addition to custom mapping) to reduce PC values and provide ridability in the event of a PC failure. This is an option and not a must, but recommended.
