Hi Mike.I have a stock 03 FLHT and I,m installing a Screaming Eagle air cleaner and a set of D&D Fat Cats. I need you,re advice on carb.jetting and tips on carb bowl screw removal. Also would like you,re opinion on upgrade and would you recommed dyno time and if so how much?Any other tips on working on carb. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for you,re time!

Jetting should be around 195-200 main, 48 low speed and one needle shim (two will make better tq but kill fuel milage). The plug for the idle fuel adjust can be drill out with a 29 bit and often comes out with the drilling operation. If it does not come out then a ssheet metal screw can be used to remove with the previously drilled hole. Be carefull not to drill to deep into the adjuster screw. Go slow and stop when you break through. I do recommend dyno time just to confirm the tune and verify your gains from the changes and to know that your combo is fully optimized. One tip is to put some motor oil on the carb to manifold seal to help keep it from cutting or rolling when reinstalling the carb to the manifold. This will also help insure the carb goes fully on. Let us know how it works!
