Mike,
This is one of my first online adventures (Didn't leave the rock quarry with Fred & Barney) my question is about your new fuel throttle body, is it ready for general sales, pricing , lead time (if any) & fitment issues. Have 01' R/G with mild 95 kit & mild ex. port work. Cam chains are getting old & want to expand tq/hp, available for 2up riding & single up playtime. Thinking of going up in bore only, to 106 or 113. Still shopping info & complete packages (cam, cly.,head, piston) combo's. Lotsa conflicting sales pitches!
MIKE you have got undoubtably some of the most extensive info & real world exprience out there & I would truly value your input on this issue. I am a big guy so to be honest when I ride single up it is dam near a two up situation, then my wife (normal size) & all the road trip stuff you can get the idea! I want to try & OBTAIN THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS ~ a wide torque band (low 2k thru 5.2k) if feasable. LOVE 85 - 90 MPH ROLL ONS . Gearing to remain fairly stock for now, 6spd. insert next year ??. Bike currently has Ness big sucker (stg. 1), Stg. 2 burn, PC 3, stock M/M fuel inj., Rhine t/duals (early issue, will change) runs @ 93-95 H/P,98TQ., with a fairly flat AFR., CAM is a ANDREWS TW37 (510).

Thanks for your time & advise

Thanks for the kind words! Busting rocks right with you. Unfortunately, our throttle-body is desinged for 06 and later models with 02-05 requiring an adaptor kit. We hope to release in about 8 weeks but I've been saying that now for about 6 months. We are moving forward but now hope to accomodate the new Electronic Throttle Control on the 08's. So another delay. For the MM bikes, I'm referring to Zippers and their Thundermax conversion system. Basically, this converts the MM bikes to the Delphi system but still uses Alpha N type management stratigy (Delphi is Speed Density). Good system and good support!

As far as the rest of the combo, the bigger the motor the more tq (and broader) you'll produce, so go with as big as your budget will allow. You may want to consider one of the Jims 120's (131 to be released in late Sept). When looking at installing the 113 with engine teardown and machining, the crate motors start to look cost effective, especially if the builder offers any kind of buy back on the take out motor which can be applied to the new motor (we offer this, price depending on year, milage and condition).
