Currently own a S&S 113". It's been setting on the bench for a year. With all the dyno bragging going on around town I thought I would tear down the 113 and make it a DYNO ONLY HIGH HP piece. Without telling the locals ofcourse. (No regard to torque). Put it in the old FL and head to the dyno competitions. What combo parts would you suggest I use? CAM, CARB, Headwork, Exhaust, Compression Ratio, Size Carb, Titanium Valves for RPM??? etc...??? Let me know, I'll build it, get it dyno'd, then post the results.
Pretty much the biggest of everything you can fit in (both physically and monitarily). Some guys are running as much as 15:1 compression (that I know of), dual carbs, 800+ lift cams, 2.250 + intake valves. Other tricks are light wheels (both flywheels and chassis wheels/tires), thin oils, oxygenated fuels, reduced primary ratios, etc. Custom pipes, pistons, manifolds, pushrods and more will be required (maybe a little NOS-make that a LOT). Dyno shootouts are FUN!!! FYI, the AHDRA Street-Pro guys are 250+hp (130ci+), just for a reference.
