Mike ,
I called the shop for a map and they referred me here. Seems you are the man when it comes to knowing where they are and how to get it! lol
Anyways, I have a 2006 Streetglide with the 25 degree injectors from the factory. I put the new style 06 Rinehart true duals on that are supposed to be the newest baffle design(slightly quieter and better tq). I also have the Arlen Ness Big Sucker AC. Had my local dealer in Indiana dyno tune it when it had 600 miles on it before I headed to Daytona. It never has ran perfect with what seems like alot of heat, and some pinging occasionally, cough thru the intake, etc. I have put 3000 miles on it and finally got a copy of the map thats in it from them. They used cal #55 and the only thing that was changed was in the AFR table in the 80 thru 100 kpa areas, and from 1250rpm thru 3000. Nothing was changed in the VE or timing tables AT ALL. Although I got 77.5 hp and 82tq which I thought was good, I now realize this was all at WOT and still not right, although at first glance to a novice like me...looked good.
Anyways. do you have a map that will be safe to load and run since I am not dyno tuning to my specific bike etc...but be alot closer and better than what I have now? Does elevation here where I am affect tuning differently? If so, whats the method and process to find and get it?
If it matters as well, I have ver 4.6.2 and my maps are *.MT6 . My intake seals were replaced lately too, so i know thats not the cough in the intake. Still does that occasionally.I can send you my map and or dyno printout if needed too.
Thanks alot. I appreciate any info or insight you can give.
