What information is provided in the baseline dyno?
Thanks.
We provide hp, tq and fuel curve when we can easily access the exhaust with the probe. Several runs should be made to stabilize temperatures (even though the first several runs may not be sampled, so you may see only three runs numbered but several more were actually made befor sampling was done). We will also help the owner to enterpret what info. we have if it is obvious (really jagged, very low numbers, big spikes, etc.). Know that base runs only show whats happending when accelerating through the rpms while at full throttle and it will not show cruise or steady state conditions. Last, the dyno is a comparitor, so a single dyno chart does not always reflect the state of tune. It's through making changes and comparing the charts that this can be determined.
