Hi Mike, my question in looking at two of the engine packages you offer is this: What pistons are used for the Boss package?
The difference I see between "Promotion 95" and "Boss 95" package is Cylinders/pistons-exchange.
Both state "torque curve 100-105HP/105-110TQ". Does this assume that flat top piston have been previously installed, which
would make the compression the same? Which cams are used?
Thanks for your help
The promotion kit was entended to be an upgrade for those who already have a 95 inch kit installed. It utulizes the flat top pistons (already installed) by decking the heads to get the compression up to the 10.2 accomplished by the Hi-comp cast pistons. In the end we have essentially the same kit but using different means to accomplish the same goal. If we are starting with an 88 ci motor it easier to use the Hi-comp pistons since we have to bore the cylinders (or use new), eleminating the need to deck heads. We use 211 cams with stock heads and 251 cams with ported heads, in both kits. Another consideration is milage. If the 95ci bike has a fair number of miles and we wish to freshen the top end as part of the kit install, we may elect to go with the Hi-comp cast pistons, bore the cylinders +.010 and not deck the heads. Pushrods are required in these combo's but differ between the two.

Mike,
I'm planning on having you guys install the promotion 95 engine package on my 06 heritage in a few months. I'm coming from the Boise area and will need to drive the bike
home after the install and dyno. Is there an additional break-in that I need to consider?
How do I schedule you to do the dyno tune right after the engine package is installed?
Contacts to set this up?

Call Latus and ask for "Thad" in service. He is who I dealt with to have Mike tune my 98" build, and he/they took great care of me, and got it done right, without any hitches. I also took mine over from Meridian, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Those guys run a top notch outfit there.
