Hello Mike, I need your help on a problem, with a 2005 Heritage softail. It has the 95c.i. Big Bore Kit with 10.25-1 comp,?and 211 cams?it also has the?stage1 air cleaner kit.?For the Exhaust it?has Vance & Hines long shots, with baffles .It is powered by a ?power commander and?stock heads. The Bike Runs rich all the time. The power is good, the bike was put on the Dynojet and? the Max Power 87.62 and the Max?Torque was 100.19. This is good. It went from 43.2 MPG TO 33 MPG. Is this standard for a 1550 with 211 cams with the V&H and stock Heads. What do you recommend to improve the fuel mileage or is this as good as it gets with this setup with stock Heads.

Thanks for a great forum!!

Should be getting 40-44mpg on the straight and level. You can use the PC faceplate low and mid buttons to lean those areas while still maintianingyour high end WOT power. If you lean too far the bike will start to run lazy or hesitate so it should let you know when you've gone too far, or if your mpg gets TOO good.
