Mike,
I have two questions? My current build is as follows: 06 heritage B EFI, K&N filter with SE exhaust, 95" flat tops, 203 cam and SERT. I have about 15k miles on this bike with 60% attributed to tour miles, seldom ride two up. I had the bike dyno'ed in April 07 and was a little disappointed in the results. Hp from 70 to 80, TQ from 85 to 90. I'm considering your Boss 95 engine package, which should get me to over 100 ft lbs of TQ. My 1st question concerns the SE exhaust and if its going to restrict my torque numbers. I have been looking at D&D fatcats if the SE slipons don't cut it. I also don't want to get murdered at the pump. My mpg dropped from 44 to 40 mpg after the tune. 2nd question is - what mpg can I expect with the Boss 95 build?

Thanks for your input, Mike.
:)

The exhaust on this bike is Short-Dual, slip-ons.

Apologies for late reply. Milage with the Boss kit should be 40-44 mpg when properly tuned in cruise environment. The SE's will limit tq compared to the D&D but not too bad, actually not a bad choice for Softails. The SE slip-ons work very well with the Boss kit.

Mike, thanks for your response, your site has cleared up many questions I've had.

On a side note - I live in an area that the summer temps often reach 95-100+ degrees, is the added compression, with BOSS95, going to
effect the engine temp so as to become unbearable in traffic?

Nope, with the camming and higher air flow of the heads it's not much more than stock (maybe even a little less). It will make more heat at higher rpms (heat=energy=hp). We do recommend oil coolers even on stock bikes.
