Hi Mike,
I just put on some Rush Slip ons with the 1.75 in Baffles on my all stock 07 FLHRC. The Tech people at Rush said there would be no reason to make any changes to the EFI. The weather up here has been terrible so I have put many miles on yet but the 30 or so miles I did yesterday seemed to be ok. It ideals fine, no poping or backfire when decelerating, and no hesistation during acceleration.
Question: Do you think I need to do any EFI changes for this set up or what should I be looking for to flag me that there may be a need for some additional fuel management system.
Thanks,
Jerry

With the already lean running conditions associated with stock mapping, increasing air flow may cause the bike to run hotter yet even though the O2's are compensating. Typically, owners also wish to address the heat issues and sluggish performance of the stock mapping and so many go with remapping (Screaming Eagle Race Tuner) when changing mufflers to get these added benenfits.

I know this is a late entry but I read it because I also put Rush 2" baffles pipes on my 07 Heritage last June 07 and their seems to be little Rush pipe information in this forum..
I put them on at the 1k tune up with sert, se air & kn filter, dynoed, and changed to syn3 all 3 holes. Some in our area are not changing fuel management but I choose to.. I gained around 6hp and 3-4#s peak torque but almost 10#s after 3500rpm- 5500rpm. flat line better
What I did not want was the decell popping I got, after tuning 2nd time did'nt solve issue I called Rush and was asked to look at muffler to header pipe seal. They are really good at helping. After seeing daylight in both pipes I had dealership redue and retune again. no charge.. and now about 99 % poping gone, only on high rev decell does it pop now which I am OK with.
The 2" baffles are all I would want (loud wise) when getting on it but at the same time they are fairly quiet at crusing speed.. The wife and I talk with no problem hearing while maintaining the same speed... we are in out late late fifties and over all they are fine.
They seem to be getting a little louder with miles.. we have about 8400 on them now and we think they are mellowing out..
Still a really deep rumble to them, along with air box, sert, and syn 3 oil we got about 30 degrees of heat out of the engine... run now 215 - 220 on even hottest days which is the biggest reason I made the changes on the bike...
