please mike some info on the reed valve as shown in the build on the 07 as shown in the last issue of American Iron also availability and price and most of all any difference in either performance or oilo control tom

It's from a Buell motor and we machine the cases to accept it. Along with the other mods, we charge $250.00 (price change due to shop rate increase) plus the part cost ($32.00). It helps relieve crankcase air pressure on the downstroke of the piston in large displacament motors, since crankcase volume/displacement ratio is reduced and thus frees up hp. I cannot give good A-B test data as to build a motor without and then tear down and install then retest is not practical for us. We're making assumptions based on performance/race motors built in the past and Buell motors which apply this theory/technology. Some might question whether this can cause carry over problems but, to date this has not been more so than similar motors built without the mods. We do recommend Fueling oil pumps when going with these mods.
