Hey Mike - I have read elsewhere on this forum that you guys are not using the DTT products. I think you mentioned that you have made the decision to be experts in SERT and PC products. Can't be everything to ever product, and I completely understand that.

I have a new Road Glide being delivered this week and have the list of accessories about finished. I had a SERT on the list, but have since read some pretty strong testimonials to the effectiveness of the DTT Auto Tune. In one case a guy making over 115/115 w/ a GMR 98" build felt the DTT performed noticeably better than his current SERT tune. I have to believe the SERT tune was pretty good to be getting those numbers out of a 98" build. He will be putting it on a dyno next week to verify what he is feeling seat of the pants. It is making me second guess what to purchase for my new ride.

The bike will have a basic Stage 1 upgrade done immediately using a S/E Heavy Breather and Bassani Road Rage. This winter I plan on doing a 103" with the goal being 115/125 Hp and Tq. If I go with the SERT, your shop will be doing the tuning. I guess to put it bluntly, will your SERT tune be as good as the DTT will be capable of?

As always, thanks for your expert opinion. One of these days I will have to introduce myself to you. I'm in there enough lately.

I just returned to Idaho from having Mike at Latus dyno tune my GMR 98" build. 125.70 H.P. and 114.06 torque, and a torque curve that is unbelievable. I'd be glad to share my dyno graph with you, just provide me with an email address to send it to. Mike did an amazing job. I'm a believer......

ps.......Just because the guy had a SERT tune, doesn't mean it was a "good" SERT tune.

All I can say is that the SERT tune will be the best WE can give you. I really do not have a legitimate way to compare the DTT vs. SERT without doing an A-B dyno test of both units on the same bike/same dyno.
