Hi Mike. I see you have mentioned in a number of posts that you like the V&H Classic Round 4" Slip-ons, great torque for baggers, and as these are fairly loud I am wondering if these with "Quiet Baffles" would tone down the sound a little and boost torque even more.

I am thinking for 07 Road King:

V&H Classic Round w / Quiet Baffles
K&N RK-3909 kit
V&H Fuel Pak

Just a thought.

Thanks.

Apologies for late reply. I do not believe the V&H classics have quite baffles available. They are not terribly loud in stock form. V&H is working on kquiter systems as we speak but not yet out. When asked about this they refer to there SE series mufflers which, are not great performers. You are correct that one spin off of quiter baffling is more torque form 2-4k.

Thanks again Mike. I know you get a ton of messages, so thanks for answering.

It's good info. to know, as torque is the real goal for Touring bikes I think. This is probably why the HD SE Touring Mufflers, although being way too quiet for most people, do make nice torque from off idle thru 4,000 rpm's.

The new "legal'" version do but the older "performance" versions had a significant tq dip whith cammed motors.
