just had spring installed with 113 upgrade on 01 carb roadglide motor. at idle, the oil pressure runs about 25+ according to pressure guage on console. when motor is revved up to around 3000 rpm, the pressure goes up immediately to almost 60. is that correct? seems like it is high for pressure.

Check the pressure with oil temp at 180-210 and let me know what shows. Your pressures would not be unusual for cold oil. Another possibility is that the plunger valve is sticking in the cam plate bore, fairly common. We recommend polishing the o.d. of this valve and insuring it's free movement in the plate. The spring increases oil pressure by 15% and typically increases idle pressure by 1-2lbs and pressure at 3k about 5lbs over what the bike had before installing the spring.
