103 SE Engine

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2006 SE 103 engine with less than a 1000 miles on it. The engine came off a Ultra Classic. It includes the throttle body and injectors. Can it be installed on a 2002 SE Road King? What stock cam is in the motor? What other items would need to be changed to get it to work?

The motor will go in (assuming your 02 is also EFI) but the wiring harness will have to modified to use the 06 injectors, TPS and IAC or you can install your 02 throttle body (you'll have to use the 06 flanges). The CVO 103's used the 253 cams. Changing cams to the 251's or 257's (or similar) helps and if you go with the 06 style throttlebody harness changes, you could then install the SE 50mm.
