Mike, would it make much sense to come from say an elevation of 3300 feet to your shop to get a tune with a mild build, cv40. Most of my riding is at 2500-5000 feet elevation and I am wondering if it would be a waste or not. The dyno tech in my area really does not mess with carbs. thanks.
I always feel dyno tuning is a good thing for a variety of reasons. Not just jetting but ignition timing and cruise fuel will also be addressed and you'll know how your setup is working. Last, you'll have a know baseline to change from or compare back to for future changes. The CV carbs do a fair job of compensating for altitude but we would probably favour the lean side knowing your riding invironment.
