I have a 07 Ultra and am looking to smooth things out and gain a little power.I have a Doherty air cleaner on order and am looking for the right exhaust system.I like the Rhinehearts but dont like the low and midrange power loss.I am interested in a little more noise but not excessive.Any suggestions?Have you done any work with the techallusion tuner? Thanks for the time Denny
If you get the Rineharts with quiet baffles the torque dip is not as bad and the sound is great! We like the V&H Classic Round slip-ons for the best torque and hp curves (you can see examples on this site in our dyno library, largest in the world).
We've used the Techlusion and have had issues. H-D makes a similar unit, Race Fueler, but we prefer either Race Tuner or Power Commander USB. More money but a LOT more bang. If you choose the V&H slip-ons and do not expect to make future changes, their Fuel Pak works well as it has mapping designed to work with their exhaust.

I plan on just the air cleaner and pipes and the techallusion.I had heard that there were issues if you went beyond that.Is this your finding also? Thanks for your time
Yes, we do not recommend it.
