View Full Version : 2005 Harley XL 883 Jet kit 8134?
I followed the instructions for the 8134 Kit. It also has Vance&Hines pipes and a air cleaner. Does anyone know what can cause these kind of variations between cylinders and is this normal? Dynorun .003 is in the back cylinder and Dynorun .004 is in the front one. Thanks.</p>

Few people realize how different each cylinder tuning is on an H-D engine. Because both cylinders share the same carb there will always be a compromise to tuning. There's a whole list of reasons for this difference. Your difference is fairly normal and good tuners will often split the difference in jetting to get the best balance and do the same for the rich to lean conditions across the rpm scale. This is why EFI bikes typically will give better torque numbers because we can optimize each cylinder independently.
