Hi Mike
I have a FLSTCI 2006 i put vance and hines long shots and a ness big sucker a/c also i had a harley down load as well my bike runs lean as i drove about 40 miles pulled off the highway removed my plugs and they were very white i have alot of decel pops i took my bike to the dealer he tells me everything is good he even indicated that i come from the old school i think over a period of time i will blow a hole though the top of my piston..I have checked out power commander111,tv11 but i think a SERT is my best option as well if anything happens it will be covered under my warranty what do you think. Oh yes i almost forgot dealer gave me a price of $700.00 for the sert i can buy one at zanotti for $411.00 us dollars the only problem if there is something wrong they will not cover the sert is there much of a chance of anything going wrong with a sert thank you for your time.

SERT is just a software program that allows access to the lookup tables in the ECM, so there is really nothing to fail. Sounds like the $700.00 price may include custom mapping as the SERT itself retails for $459.95. Because SERT allows for very dramatic tuning changes this presents the potential for someone to load values that could cause engine damage (also true of most tuning devices), so use the best and most knowledgable tuner you can find. The above also is true for Power Commanders. You'll want to check with your local dealer as far as potential warranty impact using any of these devices.
