Hello Mike. I read where you stated that all the SE Street legal mufflers would sound the same. I was going to forego the SEs and go with Rinehart or Rush slipons, but then I got the opportunity to listen to both the 4" cannister Two piece SE touring mufflers on a Street Glide, and the SE Street Performance one piece mufflers (Slash down) on a Road King side by side. The One Piece were louder--I am just wondering if the narrower exhaust pipe accounts for that. Have you heard any feedback from customers on any slight differences between the loudness of these two different HD exhausts?

One more question please--I will be having the dealer install the stage 1 A/C and the SE one piece Slash down slipons, along with the HD Digitech download for this combination. My dealer tells me that the Harley Stage 1 download is all that I need for this combination. Is that your general recommendation?

I order lots of stuff from Latus and appreciate the knowledgeable advice you provide.

I should have said similar. The slash down may sound louder due to echo from the ground, but the narrower design would indicate less packing and therefore more noise. We've not really had any comments on the sound other than many were expecting them to be louder.
Yes, the DT download will be fine since you are staying faithful to a combo for which a cal. is available. We would recommend the same.
Thank you for using the forum and your patronage, Mike
