Hello Mike;
You built a bike for me several years ago, 1990 FXSTC. Ran like the devil and was reliable. Fabulous work, thanks.
I've got an 03 FXSTI with SEII slip-ons. I would like to have you do your 211 kit next fall and am looking to change exhaust for my summer riding. I don't really want to make any more noise than I already make but would like to run well with my existing Stage 1 ECU and be able to run well with the anticipated 211 kit.
I've narrowed it down to Reinhardt 2-1, Kerker 2-1 or Supertrapp Super Megs. Do you have an opinion on which of the three would give me the flexibility I am looking for without the noise? For looks I would choose the Kerker but I've never heard one. Kerker also looks to give better right side clearance.
thanks in advance

Thanks for the kind words. My first reaction is to recommend the Supermeg. As a tunable exhaust we can taylor the noise and performance to suit our needs. I've heard from other shops around the country that they are working very well but we have yet to run one other than on a V-Rod. We have run the Kerkers and RH's and have been less than impressed with either. Kerker is owwned by Supertrapp and are similar in design but not tunable. The RhineHarts exhibit a very big torque dip, even on stock cammed bikes which will be even worse when cams are added to the mix.

With the 211 kit, you will need some sort of tuning device like Screaming Eagle Race Tuner. But this will also be true with any exhaust choice other than H-D. The Stg 1 calibration will not be correct for these applications (the ECU itself will be fine, just the program in it).
Thanks, Mike
