Y pipe modification 2007 FLHX

Hi Mike,
I searched and can't find any specifics on the modification.
Will the Latus service department do it if I send them mine or if I buy a new one?

Yes, we can do it if sent. We have a shop minimum of $42.50. It's very easy to do with a die grinder and an extended shank burr. Getting the pipe off is the difficult part. Somewhere on this site I described what this mod is.

Hi Mike,
Do you just grind off the part of the rear pipe that extends into the lower pipe? I have my pipe off, and that area seems to block the flow.
I just found the post, and that's the area to grind off. Thanks much.
