I have a 2007 FLHRC with SE Street Preformace Touring Mufflers part# 64985-07, and SE air cleaner as the only mods to bike would like to buy a SE Race tuner map that would be 90% close for this bike, would rather err to the rich side as cooling is more imporant than preformace to me. Can you do this as I live on East side of the Mississippi and the dealer here has just installed a dyno but I don't want him learning on my bike.
There is actually a Digital Tech calibration for your combo available from your dealer for $149.95. In Race Tuner there is also a close match in the map file data base that comes with the tuner, this is map file #159PZ003. You'll get this file with the pruchase of the SERT. The SERT file will be for a more free flowing exhaust than those installed on your bike, as are most of the maps we have available and so would not be an exact match. These will generally be richer but also may be leaner in specific areas, typically at lower rpms due to lack of exhaust back pressure. I would suggest going with the DT download, least expensive and most correct.
Thanks, Mike

Mike, on a new - zero mileage 2007 Ultra with just V&H Ovals and SE a/c, what SERT map file would you recommend as a very safe base line. I would like to put at least 1,000 miles on the bike before hitting the dyno for fine tuning. It would be a nice ride to Portland. As well, I would like to err on the rich side as opposed to running it stock and then doing the SERT, stage 1 and Ovals.
Thanks
The only selection available through SERT would be file number 159PZ003. This should be a close approximation since it is for "race" mufflers with everything else matching your combo. The other good news is that SERT files tend to be slightly richer than reflash cartridge cals and on O2 equiped bikes you have yet another level of fine tuning (albeit narrow). If one was really worried, you could take the SERT cal and modify it, save as a seperate file and then use that. This is what SERT allows, customizing. Still, custom mapping on a dyno will be the most correct way to insure that the mapping is correct for your bike/combo.
Thanks, Mike
