Frederick Harley Davidson in Frederick, MD did the initial tune but I?m building the bike and I live an hour away so have to break it in before I get it to DOC in MMI. To JBear. I do not know if we'll have an exact match but will check tuesday.
Just know that we do not tune for torque vs horsepower. When properly tuned you will have BOTH optimized for the combination. We were sometimes forced to make choices between high end horspower and low torque on carbureted motors but this the beauty of EFI in that we can tune for each all across the rpm scale. Whether you have a low end torque monster or a high horsepower high rpm charger is strickly a function of the combination. The biggest player in that comb. dictacting the shape of that curve will be the exhaust. Until we get farther along with active exhaust and possibly variable cam timing, were are still often forced to choose between the two.
Thanks, Mike
J. Shepard, Finally got my e-mails sorted out but yours came up missing (it was there). I'll e-mail you directly for one more question.
Thanks, Mike
