Question about stock exhaust on an 86 Sportster

Hi Mike,
I have a 1986 Sportster that has been converted to a 1200. It also has an S&S Super E on it.
My question is that it has drag pipes on it currently and as I am getting older it is annoying.
Will a stock exhaust from a 1995 or 96 Sportster fit my 86?
I know the stock exhaust is not the best for performance but the bike backfires like crazy and scares all of the kiddies on our block.
I just bought it so funds are a bit tight.

Never mind, I will stick baffles in the drag pipes.

I believe the stock 95's will work, brake pedal stop may require a change. This would better than baffles in the drag pipes.
