Hi Mike and all the forum, I'm writing from Italy and I'm an owner of a 2006 Street Glide Platinum Edition. I've ride for five year a 2001 Dyna Sport with a lot of mods ('95, HTTC heads, mikuni 45, thunderheader....) but now, 'cause I've decided to make a lot of trips in Europe, I choose the Street Glide and I'm totally enthusiast.
My Street Glide is totally stock, if I exclude the Power Commander USB that I choose to install, in order to make some future add'ons, like exhaust or other.
I've loaded the new map from the Power Commander site for my bike, but, instead the rev upgrade (6200 rpm) I noted that I've some problem on start...It's seems that the bike require more fuel, and the starting sometimes fails.
Now I have decided to mount a pair of slipon exhaust and the SE filter but, as you probably know, in Europe there isn't the possibility to buy Screaming Eagle exhaust. My originally idea is to mount a pair of Touring slipons with a billet end cap, but I can't find here. In addition, it's seems that on the Power Commander Map Database there isn't a map for this configuration.
Another choose for the slipons are Vance and Hines Oval slipons or the new Supertrapp SE with end caps, that are closely to the Screaming Eagle.
Could you give me a tip about the right choose in order to your experience?
Note that I've also the intention to upgrade the engine with the SE 95 Stage 2 kit (cilinder, pistons and cams), so if you suggest an exhaust that can suit also this, I'll appreciate too much!
