07 Throttle body fitting on an 04?

Hi Mike,

How can an 07 Harley Stock Throttle body fit on an 04?? My Harley Dealer said that it will bolt up, but, the electronics or connections of some sort will not fit. We are trying to get more HP out of a 95ci and one of our limiting factors is the stock EFI. I believe in 06, HD changed the throttle body to 46mm. Do you know what size they are on the 04's? On this 95ci, we have SE HTCC Heads and pistons, with a 251 cam, it has 106HP & TQ, it runs well, but we want more....it cannot compete against the 103's or bigger....

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You are both correct, it will bolt on but the Injector, TPS and IAC ends will have to change (TPS/Inj) and modified (IAC). You'll need race tuner to correct for the injector change and tuning charactoristics. It may be easier to install the Kuryakyn unit. It uses the 04E electronics, good price point, bolts on and at 57mm will be more than enough. Adverstized for the 06 is 46mm and 41 for the earilier style, both measure slightly smaller at their smallest point.
