oil pump spring

I just bought an 07 ultra and am having the big bore stage 2 kit installed and was wondering if the LMR spring will work on the new bikes and if so, what would be the pro's and con's of having it installed with this setup.

We, and other shops, are installing them in 07's and would recommend doing so. It should have the same benefits for the hydraulic cam chain tensioners as it does for the hydraulic tappetts. We did have one bike that experianced a lot a carryover out the air cleaner with one installed. We removed the spring thinking maybe it was too much pressure when combined with the new higher volume oil pump. Removing it, however, did not solve the carryover problem which we now believe to be an air cleaner/venting issue (aftermarket unit). We have not heard of any problems from other shops using them (Baisley, T-man, etc.). So we are continuing to install but monitor at the same time. If we find there to be issues with 07's will advise accordingly.
