Modulator

I want to put a headlight modulator on my 2005 Harley Raod King Classic.A friend of mine did this on his chopper for safety and said it works great. Are there any reasons I shouldn't do this? Who makes the best one?

Hard part is to prove it really works, will someone admit they may have run over you if not for the modulator? I'm being slightly "tongue-in-cheek" here so forgive me. I'm for anything that bring's attention to motorcycles in a modest/legal way (that does not include "loud pipes saves lives") and cannot see any negative side to a modulator. As far as who makes the best, I cannot answer. Just simply not that familiar with the offerings. I suspect they all work well but would tend to stick with a known brand. I'll check with our chrome consultants to see if they have more experiance and suggestions.
