I have ridden for many years without much motor work other than regular maintenance. My first performance upgrade was a 95" kit to my 03 Road King. I'm not a mechanic and frankly a lot of the technical discussion is over my head.

I just got a 07 Road Glide and would like to upgrade the performance. I like to think that I am a reasonably intelligent person, but after reading the exchanges I am beginning to wonder. I would like strong performance in the 2500 to 4500 rpm range. I ride single, typically around town, 5-6 hour rides on the weekend, with 2-3 longer rides (3-7 days) per year. Is there some place I can see/read about particular performance packages where I don't have to try to do too much thinking?

Your not alone, our Destroyer is starting to make me wonder. Seems the more I learn about it the dumber I get. Anyway, this web site has one of the largest dyno graph libraries on the enternet. It can be overwhelming but allows you to look at many different combo's and make analysis. By virtue of it's size one can (hopefully) begin to see certain trends in engine and exhaust combo's and make more informed decisions.
