07 street glide

I just bought an 07 streed glide. the dealer is installing rinehart true duels, the HD race tuner, and S/E air cleaner. Is this a good combo to help with the heat issues ? Whats your opinion.

This is a very good combo! The SERT, when properly mapped for the aftermarket exhaust, takes care of the heat issues.

Thanks for the info mike. This is my 1st bike with fuel injection my last bike was a 95 Heritage classic Also have you tuned a street glide with this combo yet ? My dealer said they use the maping that is on the harley web sight for touring bikes. Is this ok or do I need a custom maping.

Not sure what "H-D" map on the H-D web site they would use since H-D would not have a map for an aftermarket exhaust. The very reason Race Tuner exists is to allow tunability for combo's for which H-D does not have existing maps. Some maps are available from other sources (ours included) and may be found on those enternet sites if someone has developed one. I always worry about using maps from unknown sources (tuners). Best option is to have it properly custom mapped by a knowledgable tuner. This removes any doubts about correctness and usability with your particular bike.
