Picked up my 07 FTLTRI in September and have put on 3500 miles. The bike rides great with no EFI issues. The bike does run hot and since I want a little more sound I was thinking of adding the SE Slip-ONs and SE Breather kit. My question is do I need to add a PCIII, Race Tuner or just the Harley Download (recommended by the dealer). Appreciate your comments.

If you are using the "Legal" SE slip-ons, the downlaod will be fine and least expensive. If you have future performance plans the Race Tuner may be a better investment to allow for those changes later and has a similar cal. to the download for immediate use, available on the CD. Also Race Tuner may allow tuning to help reduce the heat (of course, fuel milage may suffer as a result). The PC III will also work and you'll have an easier time finding experianced tuners not to mention a very large map library on Dynojets web site (free to download). Race Tuner still has much more capability and with a good tuner, is my first choice between the two.
Thanks, Mike

Mike,
One more question. Will the stage 1 download add fuel and cool it off some or does it just adjust the timing and such?
Thanks Again,

Does both. Reports are that the bikes run cooler but I cannot say by how much.
Thanks, Mike
