we have a few things in common. i have tuned said bike as of Saturday afternoon on our 250i with fairly consistant numbers to non o2 sensored bikes. granted i am at elevation of 5000 feet so altitude will affect our numbers more than yours. The bike was stock engine but had SE high Flow with SE slip-on mufflers. 72 horse and 72 ft. torque. we had a tool made to use the o2 port with our sniffer and having the o2 sensor also screwed in. not sure if that was right but it seemed to work well. tuned on advace mode and set the map to 13.2 and tuned for VE front and rear with knock off. after tune reset the map back to reference to allow the o2 sensors to work again, in cruising. let me know what you think. jd @ thunder mountain loveland, co.

Did you notice, when activated, there is a lot of knock control even with the somewhat conservative 07 ignition curves? May not be as bad at your altitude. We see a lot of detonation and very aggressive knock control on data monitor and on the street with 07's, even when tuned with SERT. We have found, too, that tuning must be done with knock control off on 07's. On earlier models, we actually leave knock control on and then adjust timing until non is seen (via Data Monitor). To do so on 07's would mean total advance of about 20 deg to accomplish same!!!
Thanks, Mike
