Mike have you had the opportunity to dyno the new Rheinhart 2 into 1 for touring applications?

Thanks....Jerry

Have not yet had the opportunity! I have heard good things about them. So many pipes, so little time.

Mike I built a SE head 95" motor with S&S 570g cams for a customer with an 02 green heritage that had that pipe. He reported you did the dyno and this was a few months back. He reported very good results but I have not seen the dyno sheet. This was right after you got the new dyno running.

Ahhhh!, Mr. States! Forgot about that one. Yes, pretty good numbers but with a fairly significant torque dip at 2700 rpm (typ. for an open muffler). This is OK on a lighter bike but would be felt pretty strongly on a touring bike (heavier bikes take longer to pull through these dips so the rider tends to "feel" or experiance it for a longer period of time and hence it seems more pronounced). Of course the touring system may be of a different design and perform differently. This is especially true of the Bassanni Road Rage where the touring version is a stepped runner design yet the softail version is not. Even though they carry the same name they perform entirely different.
When time permits I'll be updating our dyno library with those from the 250i, hopefully soon and these will include Mr. States charts.
Thanks for the reminder, Mike

Looks like it could be modified and benefit if trap discs were added. I have done this successfully on the FatCat performance baffle. Not the most attractive mod though.
