View Full Version : New V & H Big Shot Longs Installed
Mike I just did the install on my 06 deluxe. Big Shot Longs, Fuelpak, and S/E air kit. Runs great, am I able to have it Dyno'd at latus to make sure everything is AOK? I also remember you saying something about custom mapping. And last but not least, what will this run me in $$? Thanks, Jon
The fuel pak really does not require dyno tuning. It actually works best just using the face buttons and noteing the results on the street. What often happens is what works best on the dyno has to be adjusted for the street and riding style of the owner. The Fuel Pak is very easy to adjust and the results are typ. easy to feel. Other things to note would be fuel milage and detonation. If milage is poor, reduce fuel. If detonation is encountered, add fuel or try other base maps. Since you are running V&H pipes, their file map should be very close. Of course you can always do a "base dyno" to see the results of your efforts for $41.95. You get an O2 line but it only represents WOT.
Thanks, Mike

Mike, what modes/settings on the fuelpak will help decrease/increase fuel?
Have to refer you to V&H web site for the answer.
